After a weekend of some insanely good times, insanely lacking sleep and insane riffs on Rock Band, LeachLAN 1 came to an end yesterday. Judging by talking to some of the participants, a good time was had, however we are aware that there were some problems, especially on the Friday. We’d love to hear your feedback on the event so we can improve for our future LAN events, so please do visit feedback thread.

This weekend couldn’t have happened without you, the participants, who made this event your own. Nor could it it have happened without our sponsors, Alienware, AMD, Clanshirts, Crucial, Razer and Thermaltake.

LeachLAN 1 - Final Seating Plan!

With mere hours to go until LeachLAN 1, we present the final revision of the seating plan. Please check where you are seated, as it will help you find your seat when you arrive. Due to the short amount of time before the event, it is now not possible to make any changes to the plan.

As the event is now well on its way to becoming mere hours, we thought it might be a good idea to finalise what is going to be happening at the event! As a result we have now posted the “final” event timatable for organised big games and social activities.

Also don’t forget, that the BBQ is now Free, we shall be serving a selection of Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Wings and Spare ribs. As well as the bar opening hours being 7-11PM on both nights!

LeachLAN1 - BBQ plans confirmed

We have finalised our plans for the BBQ on Saturday evening. Previously this would have been a “Bring your own meat” affair however we are now able to cook food with the right level of food safety, so a selection of FREE tasty cooked meat (vegetarian options available if requested beforehand) will be on offer.

With mere weeks to go until LeachLAN 1, we are releasing the first revision of the seating plan and opening up seating requests. So make sure you check where you are sitting and if you need to, request to be moved as soon as possible.

Alienware, Crucial & Thermaltake Confirm LeachLAN 1 Sponsorship

It’s been a busy few weeks for us, as the LAN is fast approaching, so we have all the preparation to get done! But time for some good news, in the last few days Alienware, Crucial and Thermaltake have confirmed they will be sending us some LAN goodies for the raffle, and some freebies for yourselves!

So, as a result there will be lots of goodies up for grabs at LeachLAN.
